Your HomeAware® II Main Unit is a vital home safety device designed to alert individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, difficult to wake, elderly, or who need extra time to react to emergencies like smoke and carbon monoxide in their homes. It uses a combination of a bright flashing strobe, a high-decibel alarm, and scrolling text display to ensure critical alerts are never missed. You can also pair it with the HomeAware® II Super Shaker (available separately) for an added physical wake-up call.

Lifesaving alerts from your HomeAware® II device can also be securely sent to caregivers and loved ones outside the home with AlwaysAware Alerts. Every HomeAware® II device includes a 30-day free trial of this lifesaving service.

What It Alerts You To

The following alerts are built into your main unit:

Smoke alerts (listens for your existing smoke alarm)
Carbon monoxide alerts (listens for your existing carbon monoxide detector)
Smartphone alerts
Landline phone alerts
Dual alarm clock

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The HomeAware® II uses audio listening technology to detect your existing smoke and carbon monoxide(CO) alarms. It does not detect smoke or gas directly.

Because it "listens" to the environment, it is susceptible to false alarms caused by other loud noises.

To ensure it will work in an emergency, it is IMPERATIVE that you:

TEST the full system regularly by triggering your actual wall/ceiling smoke and CO alarms.
UPDATE the device firmware regularly, using the HomeAware® App, to ensure the listening capability is working at its best.
VERIFY that the unit is placed where it can clearly hear your existing alarms without obstruction.

This device is loud, easy to set up, and it works. It's as simple as that. If you are considering getting it. Do it.

Really helped me and my mom!

My mom is at the age where she needs more support than I can give her. We installed cameras, but I can't watch them all day and, honestly, she needs her privacy too. This device really is lifechanging. Not only do I know that my mom will know if there is fire or other emergency in her house, but I have the subscription service, so I know that I will know the second something happens, and she needs my help.
