Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock with Super Shaker

When i was in middle school my mother and i fought constantly over my ability to sleep in through any alarm, how she always had to wake me up to make sure i was ready to go, and how i kept waking up late for the bus. That was 2012/2013. For the last 13-14 years I have had the same sonic alarm clock and it has faithfully shaken inside a metal bucket while screaming at me and flashing lights into my eyes from across the room. As of May 2026, my sleep started to become less disrupted in the morning and has led to me being late to work. One of the two morning alarms has stopped working entirely. It feels like I'm losing an old friend that I used to roll out of bed quickly to slap as hard as I can. Returning customer, and may even buy a backup in case this happens again in another 15 years and this company no longer operates.

So I have tried multiple alarm clocks throughout my life, through high school and college

I tried alarm clocks where it was a light stand that literally flashes flight in your face when it goes off. It’s cool, but didn’t really work. Then came sonic boom.

My two complaints for this is whenever I have to change the alarm time, and the current time, I can’t go back, so I have to cycle through an entire day to get the exact time that I need, so I usually hate changing the times here. Plus gotta change it when daylight time hits too. So…. If the company makes it easier to make to change the times, I’ll buy two more just as backups lol

My other complaint is that the vibrating disc can easily be damaged and frayed or whatever. So I had to buy a replacement. Which is why I’m here. Hoping the replacement works here

I've been very pleased with the Sonic Bomb. I don't have any hearing problems, but I love the bed shaker to not wake my family up at 3am.

I purchased one for my son to get him off to school and work. They definitely work. Huge fan.

This thing literally changed my life. I struggled for decades to get out of bed in the morning. No matter how much sleep I got or didn’t get, I’d sleep till noon. Even multiple alarms wouldn’t do it. I’d wake up at noon with alarms having been going off since 8 and I never noticed. This thing wakes me up immediately. The high pitched alarm, the flashing lights, and the bed shaker all work very well together. It’s hard to pinpoint what wakes me up the most, but either way it’s one of my all time favorite purchases. I may even buy another as a back up in case they are ever discontinued. One of my friends actually noticed I was getting up earlier and asked me how I broke the cycle, and now they also have one of these

I've had my Sonic Bomb clock just over a year. I've experienced several mornings when the alarm clock did not go off. Now, the buttons are malfunctioning. The Time and Alarm buttons are changing the time as if I'm holding down the Fast button. I can't find any troubleshooting ideas online to fix it. I'm very frustrated!

I just received a Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock from Amazon. I must say - You Done Good. This is the first alarm clock with controls that make sense. Your good work with the hardware all goes to waste with the lousey operating instructions. You proved you can do better with the clock. Now clean up your act and make a decent set of instructions. tks

I have used this alarm clock for at least ten years. I can’t hear anything without my cochlear implants/processors so the vibrating option is what I use daily. My son (normal hearing) also has one because he is such a sound sleeper, nothing else wakes him up. The audible alarm is like a VERY loud rooster, plus there is a visual strobe light that flashes. You can choose loudness, whether you want vibration or noise or both, and brightness of strobe. One or two alarms (this feature not available on all models).

This is awesome I get a heart attack every morning but it really wakes me up. It acts like caffeine and really gets my heart beat going.

This is the best alarm clock I have ever bought, easy to use, can set it for 2 different times of the day or night, yes it’s loud, if my window is cracked open and when it goes off my neighbors called me on the phone asking me if that’s my alarm beeping, I said yes it set to remind me pill time when I’m sleeping or awake, they laughed. Worth every penny, I love this alarm clock, also made very well and never forgets to sound off. I’m a very heavy sleeper so the vibration by my pillow also helps me wake up.

Best alarm clock I've ever used!!! Took a minute to figure it out with all the features lol but in the end it's well worth it!!

I am a super deep sleeper not even an earthquake could wake me. I have had this alarm clock for about a year and I think if i didn't I just simply will not wake up. My snooze button broke the first week having it from pounding the button too hard but I honestly like it better without it since it requires me to actually get up and turn off the alarm rather then going back to bed. I place my alarm on the ground far from my bed so I have to get up an crawl to turn it off to ensure I wake up. Overall this is the best alarm clock for my needs and I highly recommend it for any deep sleeper/ impaired sleeper. If I could make any suggestions it would be to make a stronger snooze button however I think it just broke from my raging fist one morning...oops.

This is the one and only alarm clock that wakes me up! After 2 years of my mother waking me up for work, I finally can get up my self thanks to the sonic bomb. The vibration pad is so good, i woke up scared half to death lol. I told my family it’s not guaranteed until I use it and I will officially say, I GUARANTEE THIS ALARM CLOCK! Best $60 spent

I got this clock about 2 months ago and it's wonderful. I can go to sleep at night and not worry about not hearing the alarm the next morning. I wear 2 hearing aids and when I take them out at night I cannot hear anything.

The alarm is as loud as advertised, but the bed shaker is a mess.

1) It is as powerful as advertised.

2) It is powerful enough that, if it comes into contact with your bed frame, it will make a sound loud enough to wake up everyone on the same floor as you. It also vibrates enough to move itself - so even if it doesn't start at your bed frame, it will eventually move there.

3) In no way is the "Adjustable Strength Bed Shaker" adjustable strength. You get one option and that option is overkill.

Just received it, tried it out, and this going to be perfect for waking me up. Dual alarms for letting me keep later appointment or taking medications on time.

Bought this about 2 years ago its works wonderfully. I drive a semi truck and with my truck running and other trucks a regular alarm is hard to hear. This one with the shaker is great..

Let me start off by saying that for the average cosumer, this is great. For me, though, not so much. I have been a VERY deep sleeper all of my life (at the time of writing this I'm 14) and have never been able to wake up via an alarm clock. I have tried everything from cheap Walmart alarms to putting my phone right next to my ear at full volume, but nothing would wake me up. I got this hoping that it would do just that, but it didn't. I put this thing on full volume and tucked the Super Shaker into my pillow case. Still nothing. Like I said, this product is great and is exactly what it claims to be, but it just doesn't wake me up. I am convinced, though, that I have some sort of sleeping condition, as I don't think this is normal. With that being said, I still would recommend this product.

Wakes me up great, nothing else would waake me up but this alarm is literally assuring that I get through college. I love this thing. Only issue is the snooze button is broken now (go figure) but other than that, it is genuinely a lifesaver. If you're in doubt, buy it.

Just bought, haven't used it to wake yet, but note the digits are much more white than what appeared to me to be blue in the picture.

Having hearing loss is the pits. I searched high and low for an alarm that would wake me. My wife says they are all very loud but I sleep right through them. My Audiologist gave me the web address and suggested the bed shaker. I never knew this existed. I ordered the SonicBomb (which I can hear) with the bed shaker and now I have no fear that I will be late again. Great product and a great price.

Product works exactly how it is described! Worth the investment!

I'm a morning guy. I wake up every morning at 5:00 so i can take my time and get things done ahead of going into work. It was driving my wife crazy and my alarm clock was waking her, my kids and the dog up.
The Sonic Bomb is super loud but i just use the bed shaker so it doesn't disturb the rest of the family.

This thing is the bomb ! Or at least feels like one went off when its time to wake up.

Wife is a deep sleeper and wanted this for her bed side. But the shaker unit is powerful enough that I jump up every time it goes off in morning.

Package comes with the LED clock/alarm unit, shaker unit and power supply. You have an option to run it with 9V battery, but since this was going to be on bedside, we powered from wall. The shaker units plugs into the clock and powers from it.

It looks like a bomb timer prop right out of a cheesy action movie, but is marketed so and no grief for looking as loud as it sounds.

Setup is easy and straight forward. Fair warning to users - DO NOT set up loud sound on first try - choose what works for you starting at low. It is extremely annoying and along with the vibration, it does startle you awake.

Have been using it for 3 weeks and would recommend !

I have struggled my whole life waking to an alarm. I used to set 15 alarms every morning and that wasn't a guarantee. This alarm really does wake me! I think its the bed shaker combined with the alarm - it is a one, two punch!
