Sonic Alert Limited Warranty Policy


Thank you for purchasing a Sonic Alert product. Sonic Alert is committed to making sure our customers are satisfied and we will do whatever necessary (within reason) to make certain you have a positive experience while working with Sonic Alert or one of our distributors.


The warranty period begins from the date of invoice and is in effect from one to five years (depending on the model purchased) from the original invoice date. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not include malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, problems with electrical power, usage not following the product instructions, acts of nature, or improper repairs made by anyone other than Sonic Alert. If a warranty claim is approved, Sonic Alert will provide the customer with a new, rebuilt, refurbished, or alternate product to replace any eligible defective products.


We do not grant warranty requests for products received through a state or governmental program, agency, or department. If you are an international customer, you are not eligible for a refund.


Within the warranty period, your product will only be replaced once. If we receive your product past the warranty date or the return has not been authorized, Sonic Alert will refuse to replace your product. You can have your product shipped back to you at your expense. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the return shipping of the unauthorized return. Sonic Alert will retain the product for 30 days and then discard it.


Products that are purchased through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers are not covered with a Sonic Alert warranty. You will need to contact eBay, the unauthorized Amazon seller, or any other unrecognized seller to obtain a return. We are not responsible for any products sold through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or unrecognized sellers. If a product is returned to us and has been purchased via eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers, it can be shipped back to the customer at their expense. You will be billed by Sonic Alert for the shipping expense our business incurs.


International product purchases on Amazon or elsewhere are not covered by the Sonic Alert warranty. You must contact the company you bought the product from to be eligible for a warranty claim.


To be considered for a Sonic Alert warranty replacement, you must submit the following information with the reason for the return to customerservice@sonicalert.com or 850 Stephenson Hwy, Suite 323, Troy, MI 48083:

Once all the above information is received and approved, Sonic Alert will issue a return merchandise authorization (RMA) by email or regular mail, if your warranty is deemed valid. Sonic Alert does not supply shipping labels for any authorized returns. The consumer will need to ship the product to Sonic Alert at their own expense, including the following information:

Proof of Purchase with Model # and Date of Purchase

Name of Company You Purchased Product at

Copy of RMA


Once the product has been received, Sonic Alert will examine the product to ensure that the product failure is due to a manufacturing defect. If that is determined, the warranty claim will be approved and a replacement product will be sent. You have 30 days to return the product with the required information. If not received within that time, your warranty return will be deemed invalid and we will not accept the return. The warranty claim process will be completed no later than two weeks after receiving the product. 


Sonic Alert Refund Policy


Sonic Alert only grants refunds for products purchased from Sonic Alert within 30 days of the original invoice. Products must be returned unopened and in the original packaging. Any used or opened products will not be accepted for a refund. Once the refund claim is authorized, you will be issued a return merchandise authorization (RMA) by email or regular mail. Sonic Alert does not supply shipping labels for any authorized refunds. The consumer will need to ship their product to Sonic Alert at their own expense. They will not receive a refund for the shipping expense when the product was originally mailed to them. The only refund they can receive is for the product itself. You have 30 days to return the product with the required information. If not received within that time, your refund will be deemed invalid and we will not accept the return.


If the product was purchased elsewhere, you will need to contact the business you purchased it from to obtain a refund. We will not process refund requests past the first 30 days. We do not grant refund requests for products received through a state or governmental program, agency, or department. If you are an international customer, you are not eligible for a refund.


Sonic Alert will always refuse to grant refunds to products purchased through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers. Products sent to us that were purchased via eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers can be sent back to the owner at their expense. The product owner will be charged for the shipping expense Sonic Alert incurs.
